I have made around twenty websites which I stuck at for around a week each before getting bored and moving on to another site. The first simply personal website I had was Elindae (elvish for star shadows) which I will not link to because it was an awful mash of randomness.

That was forgotten in September of '06 and the next website I made was 'Waiting' which was created on November 23rd '06. Origionally hosted on freewebs it moved to skyward-thoughts.com, but after only eighteen days I moved again having been bought a domain package for christmas.

Version 1.0: Waiting

Images from: yanickdery.com

A nice light green layout, though it looked nice when it was done it gave me a lot of trouble to make the pictures work right. The main font used was Scriptina and the other was Times New Roman.

Version 2.0: Beautiful

Made by me and themed around the new domain the main font is Edwardian Script ITC and the smaller font is Zenda. I can't remember where I got the pictures from (I've had them saved on my pc) if someone knows can they please tell me and I'll leave credit.

Version 3.0: Blind Eyes

This is an old layout I had for a fanlisting for the character Iggy from Maximum Ride. I had to give up the FL because it was too time consuming, but I reall liked the layout. So I edited it a bit and turned the image into my next site layout. The main font is Crack Babies. Once agains as the layout is old I cannot remember where the pictures came from and I apologise for that.

Version 4.0: Just give me something to die for...

Image from: http://devils-lair.org

Featuring: Dante from Devil May Cry

This is most certainly one of my favorite layouts I've done so far. Apart from being different to the type I normally do it was easy to make and fun. It features Dante from the Devil May Cry 3 manga (I can't remember whether it was Code 1 or 2). It's the sort of grungy look I was always going for when I first created belle-noir and have finally managed to achieve. It may look a little cluttered and disorganised but I was kind of going for that look. The two fonts used are uncletypewriter and urania_czech. I apologise that I cannot remember where the brushes are from. I have had the border one saved on my computer for months. I do remember that the splatter one came from Deviantart though.

Version 5.0: Anti-Hero

Featuring: Dante from Devil May Cry

Another layout featuring Dante because I'm obsessed! I had the title planned before I even found the picture or had ideas for the colour scheme. Anti-hero was the alternative URL I was going to buy when I first got a domain. I knew that I wanted a Dante layout saying Anti-Hero on it because anti-heroes in general are another obsession of mine. (I'm not kidding once I wrote a whole essay about them out of choice!) Dante is most certainly an anti-hero!

Definition: In literature and film, an anti-hero is a central or supporting character that has some of the personality flaws traditionally assigned to villains but nonetheless also has enough heroic qualities or intentions to gain the sympathy of readers or viewers. Anti-heroes can be awkward, obnoxious, passive, pitiful, or obtuse; but they are always, in some fundamental way, flawed or failed heroes. ...

If you ask me that description fits Dante to a tee!

And I just love the colour scheme! Keeping with my nearly colourless/grey layouts but there's a wonderful hint of red ^_^ Plus he looks sooo cool in that picture! And he's older compared to my last one, in his uber cool DMC1 outfit :D Okay this has turned into fan-girling so I'll just stop now.

The main font I used is 'Last Words' and the other one is 'uncletypewriter'. The brush is from Deviantart (sorry can't remember where) and the picture is from photobucket.

Version 6.0: Until the dirge completes...

Featuring: Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII

Finally a Vincent layout! My previous ones died, but this one is pretty, I love the picture :D It took a while to make it work, because of the shape of it, but I'm happy with it now. The font I used was violition (I think that's how you spell it). The layout name comes from lyrics of the song Redemption by Gackt, which was written for Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus in which Vincent is the main protagonist.

Version 7.0: I live to die another day.

Featuring: Dante and Gilver (Vergil) from the Devil May Cry 1 novel.

Poor Vincent didn't really last very long. I became obsessed with the novels and had ideas for the layout before I put the Vincent one up so he never really had a chance. I thought those two pictures were really cool and I knew immediatly what I wanted to do with them. The title came from the song Until the End by Breaking Benjamin which I happened to be listening to whilst making the layout.

Version 8.0: Crucified.

Featuring: Dante from the Devil May Cry Anime.

I actually really love this one. It's in a different sort of style to my usual ones and I love the creepyness of it. I watched the end of Episode 11 and after making high pitched fangirling noises for a couple of minutes I immediatly set to making a layout. I didn't really know what I was trying to do and most of it was very much unplanned. I just knew that I wanted this sorta green colour and for the whole thing to be sorta ominous and pretty at the same time. Not sure if I pulled it off but yeah. There would have been more blood origionally, but I found that it looked best with just the picture of Dante being the main focal point. The main two fonts are Violition and Trashed.

Version 9.0: devil may cry

Featuring: DMC1!Dante

This layout wasn't actually made with any inspiration in mind so it was rather hard to start with, but now that it's finished I'm quite pleased with the reault. It features Dante from DMC1 though I tried loads of different pictures first including a DMC4 and 2 one before I settled on this one. I love the DMC1 out-fit best and I thought it'd be nice to go retro :P So the title is rather unimaginitive, but it's kinda supposed to be that way. The whole layout is I don't know just supposed to be DMC-ish XD. Alastor is also along the bottom of the page as a footer and I had the DMC3 Devil's Never Cry song at the top of my playlist. The main font is a theme for murder.

Version 10.0: Electric Hands

Featuring: Tora (?) from Alice Nine

I really loved this picture when I found it searching around. I also wanted a nicer layout and this was the result ^_^ not much to say about this one, but it was an experiment with textures that I think turned out well.

Version 11.0: Poison

Featuring: Don't know...

Another layout which I didn't really have inspiration for when I started - save for the pictures. I've had them saved on my PC for ages and finally managed to make something nice with them! I like the dark brown colour scheme :D heh I like things too much...

Version 12.0: Haunted

Featuring: Calvin Klein Jeans Advert

This layout is probably one of my more daring ones. I really liked he passion in this picture. It was interesting to work with the grey image to make a layout, I like the end result though I think it may have come out a little too dark.

Version 13.0: Strange Angel

Featuring: Aoi from The Gazette

I really love The Gazette and Aoi is so pretty. This layout started out as a blend, then I edited the image slightly. Notice how my layouts fluctuate between dark and light?

Version 14.0: Paint it Red

Featuring: Manga!Dante

Another of my very favorite layouts and featuring manga!Dante. The sketchy images really help to add to the grunge feel and I think red, grey and black is one of my favorite colour schemes. I looove the picture too, Dante's beautiful abs on display *drools* heh. And I very much enjoy the bullet hole brush. I also finally managed to create image rollovers thanks to Amber so that's a first for this layout too! Makes the links far more interesting ^^
